Hi I’m Rayna Benzeev! I’m an environmental researcher from Chicago who most recently lived in Denver. I graduated as an environmental science major and math modeling minor at Colorado College in ’15. Last year, I spent 9 months in Singapore on a Fulbright research grant studying the fisheries ecosystem services of urban mangrove forests. I’m really excited to learn more about the relationships between communities and forests in Madagascar before I (hopefully) begin a PhD program this fall studying land use change in tropical forests. In my free time I like hiking, biking, acroyoga, climbing, board games, and doing improv comedy.
