The Tree Planting Celebration Begins… For the last two years, the MBP has teamed up with the Arbor Day Foundation to plant trees in Madagascar. Blog by MBP Reforestation Supervisor, Samantha Ambler Here at KAFS we have started collecting the seedlings needed for the Arbor Day planting on Friday 29th April. We are collecting 2500 seedlings from Monday to Thursday to transport them to the planting sites, as well as organizing the delivery of compost. The local school hosted a dance competition and quiz and the whole village was out watching despite the rain. The message of the day was that the environment is part of our heritage and it is our responsibility to protect it.
