Well, I have been in Madagascar for about 3 weeks now and I have been at KAFS for about 2 weeks. So far everything is good. I basically spend Monday-Friday watching and/or chasing black and white ruffed lemurs around the forest. It really doesn’t get any better than that. I have also seen some really cool animals these last two weeks. I have seen two other lemur species, beautiful birds and lots on insects and spider species. I think my favorite thing about being here (besides the lemurs) is all of the wonderful people I have met. Every time I go out with my guides I am impressed by their ability to quickly locate the lemurs and easily identify one of several thousand tree species in the area. The other volunteers are amazing also I love the fact that I am able to meet and work with people from all over the world.
