Our Director, Dr. Louis, was one of 60 participants at the workshops in Madagascar last week. The workshops were to evaluate the status of species. Of the 103 lemur species known: 23 are critically endangered, 52 are endangered, 19 are vulnerable, 2 are near vulnerable, 3 are least concerned, 4 are data-deficient.
